What is a good movie double feature for a rainy weekend?
I want two films that fit together without feeling too heavy. Bonus points if they share a theme but still have different pacing.

Arrival and Contact work well together if you want thoughtful sci-fi. They are quiet enough for a rainy day but still give you plenty to talk about afterward.

Try Paddington 2 followed by The Grand Budapest Hotel. Both are warm, visually playful, and easy to watch, but the second one has a sharper edge.
